Still Rainy in Cagayan Valley, Cordilleras

MANILA, Philippines (Jan. 20, 2015) — The low pressure area (LPA), formerly tropical storm “Amang,” will continue to bring rains over the Cagayan Valley and the Cordilleras, the state weather bureau said Tuesday.

The LPA was last observed 135 kilometers east of Tuguegarao City in Cagayan. It is also expected to dissipate within 24 hours.

The northeast monsoon also continued to prevail in Northern Luzon, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

“The regions of Cagayan Valley and Cordillera will experience cloudy skies with light to moderate rains,” PAGASA said.

In Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon there will be partly cloudy to at times cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Visayas and Mindanao will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rains. Thunderstorms are likely to occur over these areas. - Inquirer.net
