Typhoon Ineng - 200 evacuated, 60 stranded in Cagayan

CAGAYAN, Philippines (Aug. 21, 2015) — Sixty-three passengers are stranded in two ports in Cagayan province following the cancellation of passenger boat trips going to Calayan Island and to the coastal towns of Dinapigue, Palanan, Divilacan, and Macunacun in Isabela province on Thursday, August 20.

MANILA, Philippines (July 9, 2015) — The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG), Philippine Navy, and Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) are investigating 3 boats or batils found carrying threatened shell species that may have come from Tubbataha Reef Natural Park.
